Field Day held in Pflugerville
Travis County Farm Bureau recently held a Field Day in Pflugerville
with Travis County Board member James Prinz co-hosting the event.
Approximately 500 children from three elementary schools in Pflugerville
attended. The children were exposed to equipment and techniques used in
cotton, corn, and grain sorghum production as well as hogs, lambs and
a catfish pond. For the past eight years, farmers in this area have helped
host the event.
